Bombay Pavbhaji

Pavbhaji Masala

Ingredients:

For Bhaji
 1 ½ cups Potatoes
 ½ cup Cauliflower, Finely Chopped
 ½ cup Green Peas
 1 Cup Onion, ½ Cup Finely Chopped, 1/2 Cup Sliced
 ½ cup Capsicum, Finely Chopped
 4 cups Tomatoes, Chopped
 ½ tsp Dhanajeera Powder
 ½ tsp Red Chili Powder (Byadgi)
 1 ½ tbsp Flower Brand Pavbhaji Masala
 4 tbsp Butter
 ¼ cup Fresh Coriander Leaves (Dhania)
 Few Fresh Lemon Wedges
 2 pt Salt to taste
Preparation of Chili-garlic Paste
 3 Whole Kashmiri Chilies, Soaked In Warm Water
 4 Garlic (Lehsun)

Procedure:

Boil Cauliflower, peas, and potatoes till they are soft. Drain out the excess water.

Heat Butter in a large pan; add the finely chopped Onions and Capsicum and sauté for 2 minutes. Then, add the prepared Chili-Garlic paste and sauté till the Onion softens.

Add the Tomatoes and simmer till the oil separates.

Add Dhana Jeera Powder, Chili powder, PavbhajiMasala, and salt and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.

Add the boiled Vegetables and Potatoes and mash thoroughly using a potato masher, adding ½ cup of water, and sauté for 10 minutes.

Garnish with finely chopped fresh Coriander leaves (dhania) and 1 tbsp Butter.

Serve Hot with Sliced Onions and fresh Lemon wedges with hot buttered Bread rolls.
